Sunningdale’s two Directors, Gordon Miller and Norman Jackson, have between them over sixty years corporate finance experience, acting in a wide variety of industries with particular expertise in recruitment, leisure, security, insurance, food, publishing. and professional services.
Gordon Miller
Gordon Miller is a Scottish Chartered Accountant with 35 years Board experience in financial and general management.
Gordon has worked with international companies in the UK, Europe, Bermuda and US, and for the last 20 years has run a successful niche corporate finance business specialising in offering financial and strategic advice to private sector companies, particularly in assisting owner managers and minority shareholders achieve satisfactory exits.
He has acted as a Non-Executive Director, and strategic adviser to a number of public and private companies in the IT, food, insurance, oil and gas, publishing and manufacturing sectors.
He has been Chairman of property, food, leisure, insurance and recruitment companies as well as recently being Chairman of the Caledonian Club.
Norman Jackson
Norman Jackson is a Scottish Chartered Accountant, gaining experience with Ernst & Young, Scottish & Newcastle Breweries and Mobil Oil (mainly in the USA, the Far East and New Zealand).
Since 1985 he has worked with a wide variety of private sector companies acting as a Non-Executive Director, Corporate Financier, Business Adviser, Finance Director and Mentor.
Current Non-Executive Directorships include companies involved in leisure, market research, travel, software, publishing, IT, distribution and management consultancy.
He is also a Non-Executive Director of the rugby club, London Scottish, where he has co-ordinated the raising of over £2million from over 100 investors and sits on the Board with a number of PLC Directors.
